Safeguarding Policy ↑
The New Apostolic Church is committed to providing a safe environment in which all children, young people, and adults are treated with dignity, respect, and care.
The Church maintains a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of abuse, exploitation, harassment, violence, and sexual misconduct. Our Safeguarding Policy provides a framework for preventing abuse, responding to safeguarding concerns, supporting those affected, and ensuring that concerns are addressed appropriately and responsibly.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility. All members, ministers, leaders, volunteers, and others involved in Church activities are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the Safeguarding Policy and to contribute to creating a safe and respectful Church environment.
All complaints and safeguarding concerns are taken seriously and managed in accordance with the Church's Safeguarding Policy and applicable South African law.
Anyone who has experienced, witnessed, or become aware of behaviour that may constitute abuse, exploitation, harassment, violence, or sexual misconduct within the Church is encouraged to report their concern to: reportsm@nac-sa.org.za
The Church is committed to handling safeguarding concerns sensitively, respectfully, and as confidentially as possible. The safety, dignity, and wellbeing of those affected will remain an important consideration throughout the safeguarding process.
