NAC TV Team ↑
NACTV is an exciting initiative of the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa, in a progressive move to embrace technology as the newest medium through which to foster fellowship and to minister on a regular and sustainable basis. While the NAC is no stranger to broadcast in terms of its frequent transmission services; this channel strives to showcase as much local content as possible.
NACTV started with a small team of dedicated and talented individuals with a common goal – taking the Church to the people. It was launched in March 2010. However despite this, “NAC TV”, as it’s become known, has grown exponentially since. We are currently working with around 68 Volunteers who assist with scriptwriting, presenting, production, camera, sound and editing.
The schedule includes NAC Church choirs, children's programmes, motivational programmes, social programmes, community upliftment programmes as well as wholesome family movies and documentaries.
NACTV secured a weekly hour slot on Cape TV, a community channel in the Western Cape with 1,000,000 viewers on which a music selection of their NAC Choirs and Orchestras are broadcast. The NACTV hour slot is currently rated in the top 5 programmes.
The Volunteers are always out and about to cover the Pulse (various community projects) of the New Apostolic community.
NACTV is focused on positive Christian programming with the objective to make a difference in people’s lives.
The Volunteers form an integral part of NACTV and our aim is to up-skill them in the Television industry. Training and workshops are offered for Presenters, Scriptwriters, Camera- and Sound operators, Editing, Directing...
NACTV was launched with a measurable target audience that own satellite decoders in South Africa, Namibia (inlcuding the Zambezi region) and Zambia. We now cover the full spectrum across Africa.
