On Saturday, 16 May 2026, Young People Leaders and Sunday School Coordinators from across the District Apostle Area connected virtually for a meaningful leadership training session focused on an important theme: the key responsibility of a leader. The event was hosted in the Pescodia congregation, Kimberley, in the Northern Cape/Free State Apostle Area.
The training brought together district and congregational coordinators and leaders who share a common desire to serve God’s children. Throughout the session, attendees were encouraged to reflect and engage deeply on what leadership means within the work of God.
As various insights and experiences were shared during the training, it became clear that effective leadership is never a journey taken alone. Beyond the presentations and discussions, the gathering also served as a reminder of the blessing that comes from fellowship. Leaders from different congregations and regions had the opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and strengthen the bonds that unite us in faith and service.
The shared experience in Pescodia was more than just a leadership workshop; it was a moment of spiritual reflection and renewed commitment. Those in attendance left inspired to lead, knowing that every leader has the opportunity to shape lives positively and strengthen the future of the church.
As the church continues to invest in its local leaders, gatherings such as these remain vital in equipping servants of God to lead faithfully and effectively.
