New Apostolic Church

The New Apostolic Church congregation in Nyanga, Cape Town, is celebrating a significant milestone on its journey of faith: the long-awaited prospect of having its own church building.
Currently assembling in a rented facility, the congregation received joyful news on Sunday, 18 January 2026, when Apostle Robert Worship shared plans for the construction of a permanent church home. The announcement was made following a blessed Sunday School divine service (with the congregation), which set a fitting spiritual tone for the day’s events.
After the divine service, Apostle Worship, together with the congregants, proceeded to the site where the new church will be built. There, the Apostle officiated a turning of the sod ceremony – an important symbolic step marking the beginning of construction.
The moment was filled with joy and gratitude as many members of the congregation eagerly took part in the ceremony, physically turning the sod themselves. Their participation reflected a shared sense of ownership, unity, and hope for the future.
This development marks a new chapter for the New Apostolic Church in Nyanga, as the congregation looks forward to worshipping in a dedicated space that will serve as a spiritual home for generations to come.
