On Saturday, 18 October 2025, the Apostle Area Sunday School and Young People Coordinators gathered for a virtual training session. Apostle van der Hoven opened the session with a welcome and prayer, setting a reflective and uplifting tone for the meeting.

This session provided an opportunity to revisit and reflect on the guidance shared by the District Apostle during the meeting with all Sunday School and Young People leaders at the start of the year. Central to the discussions was the need to remain rooted in the New Apostolic faith while embracing new ways of engaging the youth, children, ministers and parents in a rapidly changing world.

What made this gathering particularly meaningful was that it marked the first time Sunday School and Young People Coordinators came together in such a format. The open sharing of ideas and experiences created an energising and transformative space for collaboration.

There is great excitement for what the future holds. This session reminded the group that they are not working in isolation but together towards a shared purpose – the preparation of the bride of Christ.
