On Saturday, 27 September 2025, the Apostle Area Young People Leaders, together with invited District Young People Leaders, gathered for the annual conference. This year’s meeting was held virtually.

Apostle Gavin van der Hoven opened the session with a prayer and shared a spiritual message based on John 13:34–35.

Opening remarks:
The group were reminded to love the Young People—through their highs and lows, their questions and uncertainties.

Looking back:
The first part of the session focused on reflecting on the goals that were set at the 2024 conference. Many of these have been achieved, but the feedback highlighted an ongoing need for stronger parental involvement in uplifting our Young People. Looking ahead:
The second part of the session turned to planning for the year ahead, with a focus on strengthening relationships between key role players—Ministers, Parents, Music Leaders, and Sunday School Coordinators. By working together, we can ensure the best possible support in each of our congregations.

The conference was an uplifting experience filled with reflection, meaningful interaction, and shared purpose. Our Young People Leaders remain passionate, dedicated, and ready to continue this journey with love, unity, and purpose.
