The New Apostolic Church Cape Town Young People Choir embarked on a West Coast mission trip on Sunday, 14 September 2025, with a powerful motto guiding their way: "It's time to do good." It was not just a performance tour but a day dedicated to spreading joy through music and acts of kindness across the West Coast District.
The day began with a divine service at Saldanha Church, which was conducted by Bishop G. Kotze, followed by a fellowship with the local congregation. From there, the choir visited two locations in Vredenburg: Huis Wittekruin and the Siyabonga Care Village. At Huis Wittekruin, they sang and handed over 150 care packages to seniors. At Siyabonga, they dropped off 60 care packages for people with disabilities. These moments were at the heart of the choir's mission—using their talents to uplift and support others.
The trip culminated with the #DoingGood Music Concert at the Vredenburg South church, where the choir shared their music with the community. The concert was scheduled for 13:00 and was the final official stop before the choir had lunch in Langebaan and headed back to Cape Town.
