With less than six weeks to go until the feast of Pentecost, the excitement is mounting!
As the day of Pentecost draws closer, preparations are heading into the final stretch. Teams have been working behind the scenes to manage the logistical aspects involved in hosting the various activities that will take place during the week of 18-24 May 2026.
Transport arrangements have been organised to facilitate the travelling of the ministers and guests from the airport to the various venues where divine services and events will take place. Choirs and orchestras have been engaging in regular practices leading up to the midweek divine services, the concert, and the Pentecost divine service. The excitement among the groups has been palpable as they continue their preparations with the music programmes.
Photography teams have also been assigned to cover all the events. Articles and images of the event will be published on the NACSA website and social media pages to keep all members informed. The NACTV team has also put much effort into setting up the necessary broadcast infrastructure and equipment to support high-quality and disturbance-free transmissions of the concert and divine service.
As part of the preparation, the District Apostle will conduct a divine service in Tafelsig on Sunday, 26 April. This divine service will contribute to the spiritual build-up toward Pentecost and will be broadcast live via NACTV on the free-to-air set-top box, as well as on YouTube and Cape TV. The divine service will commence at 9:00 a.m.
