The Masakhe Foundation, the social outreach programme of the New Apostolic Church, is dedicated to serving all communities, irrespective of race, creed, gender, age, or religion.
The Masakhe Foundation relies on ongoing funding from donors to sustain its community work, as their efforts are primarily voluntary.
In support of the Masakhe Foundation, Silvertown Auditorium hosted a benefit concert on Sunday, 30 August 2026, and all proceeds were donated to the foundation. Cape Town Young People's Choir, Cape Town Sunday School Choir, and Cape Town Orchestra presented the concert.
The combined sound of the choirs and orchestra created a beautiful atmosphere throughout the auditorium. Warm and enthusiastic applause followed each performance, demonstrating the audience's appreciation for the evening's music.
Following the conclusion of the concert, District Apostle Peter Lambert then handed over the proceeds of the concert and donations made to the operations manager of the Masakhe Foundation, Bishop Gregory February (i.r.). A cheque of R300 000 was presented to the Masakhe Foundation, in addition to the R300 000 cheque received following the concert held in Olympus last week. This brings the total proceeds donated to the foundation to R600 000. Bishop February expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed and continue to support the foundation.
