District Apostle Peter Lambert led a thought-provoking divine service on Sunday, 16 June 2024 in Hawston, where the Caledon District gathered.
The central theme of the message focused on the virtue of humility, drawing inspiration from the Bible text James 4:10, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord; and He will lift you up."
The District Apostle's message on humility resonated deeply with the congregation, prompting quiet reflection and a renewed commitment to serving one another. This message was further exemplified as Apostle Bradley Bourne and District Rector, Shepherd Shawn Adonis, were called to serve.
On a concluding note, the choir and orchestra delivered a powerful performance of the hymn, "He comes, the Hero strong”. This uplifting piece marked a fitting end to the divine service, leaving the congregation with a renewed sense of humility and spiritual connection.
