Situated on the north-east side of Johannesburg lies a bustling settlement hub that is home to many people. It is called Tembisa. It is here that the congregations of Tembisa, Ivory Park, and Rabie Ridge gathered on Sunday, 9 June 2024 to commune with our heavenly Father through the serving of the Apostle Jerry Joubert.
The Bible text which formed the basis of the divine service was taken from Timothy 1:14: "That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us."
The Shepherd, Jeano Jacobs, was called to serve along.
During this festive and blessed encounter, 29 souls were sealed, and 4 Deacons were ordained into the ministry for the Rabie Ridge congregation.
The choir closed the divine service with a rendition of a hymn in the Zulu Sotho hymnal, Fumo, fumo wamatilo.
