"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"

District Apostle Peter Lambert conducted a divine service in Nyamazane Church, Mpumalanga, on Sunday, 25 October 2026.

The Apostles from Southern Africa accompanied the District Apostle.

The divine service was audio-visually transmitted to congregations across the District Apostle area and served as preparation for the divine service scheduled to be conducted by Chief Apostle Helge Mutschler on Sunday, 13 December, in the same venue.

The choirs and orchestra added to the sacred atmosphere with beautiful music, making it a blessed experience for everyone attending and those connected.

The Bible text used as a basis for the divine service was Romans 12:21 (NKJV), "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Apostle Werner Von Schaeffer was called upon to serve along.

Before the choir sang the closing hymn, the District Apostle announced that Apostle Jan Mabaso will be placed into retirement by the Chief Apostle on Sunday, 13 December. To replace him, Community Evangelist Thokozane Mdhluli will be ordained as an Apostle during the same divine service.

The choir crowned the divine service with a rousing rendition of the hymn, Thanks and praises.

We now look forward with great anticipation to the visit of our Chief Apostle!
