The Apostle was not alone in his journey; he was accompanied by Bishop Shabangu and District Rector Sunnyboy Billa, who together aimed to inspire the congregation to contribute generously to charity arm of the Church.
Saturday, 4 May 2024, was a bustling day filled with community engagement and joyous activities.
It kicked off with a lively 6km fun walk that saw participation from both the young and the old, embodying the spirit of unity and health.
Impressively, Apostle Mkhwanazi led by example, not just in presence but in action, as he emerged as the winner of the fun walk.
His enthusiasm was motivation for all present.
The energy high, the congregation then shifted its focus to a spirited soccer match, where Bishop Shabangu showcased his remarkable soccer skills, much to the delight of everyone watching.
This was followed by a choir competition that filled the air with harmonious melodies, highlighting the rich musical talents within our church community.
The pinnacle of the day’s festivities was the spirited "Jerusalem" dance.
Apostle Mkhwanazi joined the congregation in this exuberant dance, further solidifying the bonds of fellowship and joy among the members.
The highlight of the weekend however occurred on on Sunday, 5 May 2024, when a divine service held by Apostle Mkhwanazi took place, attended by 76 members of the congregation.
