Apostle Jerry Joubert visited Madagascar from 8-15 April 2024.
This was his first pastoral visit, after assuming responsibility for the area in January 2024.
The main objectives of the visit were the introduction of Apostle Joubert to the local leaders, the appointment of 57 District Rectors, ministerial training, and the introduction of new administration arrangements for the regional church.
During this visit, the Apostle was accompanied by the Apostle Felix and Jean Kasa, and the following divine services were conducted:
• Wednesday 10 April: an open-air divine service in Vavetenina where 500 people attended.
• Thursday 11 April: Fenerive East, in a community hall with approximately 350 believers.
• On Saturday 13 April, at Moramanga Congregation where approximately 250 believers attended.
• On Sunday 14 April, at Antananarivo, during which Apostle Joubert placed Bishop Jacques Andriatomposon into retirement.
This historic visit hailed the full introduction of the concept of ministry, with the first appointments of District Rectors in the country.
Despite the difficulty of travelling in the country, each encounter in the divine services and meetings left lasting spiritual impressions for all.
