District Apostle Helper, Mandla Mkhwanazi spent a weekend in Eswatini, which began in the early hours of Saturday, 16 March 2024.
His visit was packed with significant and uplifting events aimed at fostering spiritual growth and community within the church.
The weekend's activities commenced with an interactive meeting on Saturday afternoon, attended by ministers and coordinators.
This meeting set the tone for the weekend, emphasizing collaboration and spiritual preparation.
Following this, the local choir members dedicated their time to finalizing their music program rehearsal.
This effort proved to be not only joyful but also a source of rich blessings for the congregation during the Sunday service.
On Sunday morning, the service was especially memorable, featuring the sealing of nine souls.
The divine service conducted by Apostle Mkhwanazi and assisted by Districe Evangelist Reineth Lubisi, was anchored in a poignant Bible Text from 1 Corinthians 11:23-24, offering profound insights into the significance of communion and the remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice.
The day continued with a service for the young people at midday focusing on the theme of repentance and return to God, inspired by the parable of the prodigal son from Luke 15:18.
Deacpn Xaba and Pr Ndzinisa, the Rector, were called to serve.
In a significant development for the church in Eswatini, two district coordinators were appointed: Sr Nosimilo Bhembe for the Young People and Sr Ncamisile Dube for the Sunday School.
After a time of fellowship and interaction with the members, the ministers reconvened to conclude the weekend's agenda, focusing on the topic of "Using DSG & Serving Along (NAKI)." This discussion underscored the importance of collaborative service and the use of digital tools in ministry work.
Apostle Mkhwanazi reflected on the weekend as both fulfilling and a blessing, highlighting the spirit of unity, devotion, and the palpable sense of joy and enrichment experienced by all who participated.
