On Saturday, February 24, the grounds of the Scottsville Congregation in Pietermaritzburg transformed into a vibrant arena of laughter, joy, and playful camaraderie.
It was a special day dedicated to the Sunday School children, filled with activities that not only entertained but also strengthened the bonds within our community.
The event was sparked into life by the enthusiastic Rector, who, with the unwavering support of our dedicated Sunday School teachers, curated a series of fun games that captured the hearts and imaginations of all who attended. The air was filled with the sounds of excitement as children participated in a variety of activities designed to bring smiles and laughter.
Amid the joyous activities, one attraction stood out as a beacon of fun: a jumping castle. This colourful centrepiece became a symbol of the day's spirit, where children could be seen leaping with glee, embodying the carefree happiness that childhood is all about.
As the day unfolded, it became clear that this gathering was more than just an opportunity for play. It was a manifestation of the love, care, and unity that define a congregation. Watching the children play was a reminder of the importance of nurturing spaces where our Sunday School children can grow not just in faith but in fellowship with each other.
