The Recorder Jamboree took Evander congregation by storm on Sunday, 12 November 2023! This epic event not only brought together 27 talented participants, but it also served as a fundraising extravaganza for the purchase of more recorders. 
Attendees were treated to a brief yet entertaining history lesson on the recorder. The participants were diverse, with families, ministers, children, and even experienced recorder players all eager to showcase their skills on this humble yet mighty woodwind instrument. The air was filled with a harmonious mixture of joyful tunes and laughter as each participant flaunted their specific recorder repertoire. It was a sight to behold and a symphony for the soul. With so much talent and enthusiasm in one place, the Recorder Jamboree truly hit all the right notes, leaving everyone with a smile on their faces and an urge to pick up a recorder and join in the fun!
