On Wednesday 19 July 2023, 11 souls awaiting to receive the gift of Holy Sealing gathered in anticipation for the arrival of the Apostle Joubert to the congregation. The Apostle was accompanied by District Evangelist Seymour Holman and the ministers of Edenvale and Kempton Park Central congregation.
The Bible word for the service was taken from 2 Corinthians 3, a portion of verses 5 and 6.
During the service, the Apostle reminded the congregation of the background of Paul's journey with the congregation of Corinth. It was a congregation full of strife, and its focus was not on Jesus. Following the example of Jesus should be our main priority if we want to enter the kingdom of God.
Before the celebration of Holy Communion, 11 souls were sealed. 1 Deacon and 1 Priest were also ordained for the Edenvale congregation, and 1 Deacon was ordained for Kempton Park Central congregation.
