On Saturday 15 July 2023, members from the Somerset East District were asked to join a workshop for choir conductors. Deacon Kirsten Smith accompanied District Evangelist Eugene Felkers to Pearson for the workshop.

There was representation from all congregations of the District. This included Pearston, Aeroville, Somerset East, Noji and Kanyiso. The enthusiasm of the members was heartwarming and brought much joy to the attendees and the leaders present. 

After the workshop, everyone enjoyed fellowship and some refreshments before heading home.
