Sister M Classen from the congregation of Sydenham celebrated her 90th birthday on Sunday 24 August 2014.

After the divine service the ministers along with a group of members visited the home of Sister Classen. Special moments were shared in fellowship when she was served with Holy Communion.
For those who surrounded her on this special day there was much to learn. While singing a few hymns, one being “Count your blessings”, Sister Classen excitedly professed: “That is my favourite hymn”. The start of her ninth decade of life could easily be described as one which ruang in with many wishes of health and happiness.
