A number of them have not been to the prominent governmental institution in Cape Town which houses the National Assembly and National Council of Provinces.
On Wednesday 16 July 2014 the members were treated as dignitaries when they were welcomed into the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa.
There were even a few ministers to welcome them to the compound. While there they were taken on an extensive tour and procedures and rules associated with being a member of parliament were explained to them.
With so much information that they had to absorb their senses were awoken at just the right time as lunch was about to be served.
