On Saturday, 25 July 2020, the Rector, CEV Arthur Aspeling and brothers of Protea Park Congregation proceeded with preparations of the church building in anticipation of the start of divine services.

The team ensured that the following are in place: marking of the seating on the benches and social distance spots in front of the entrance of the church building, displaying of all Covid-19 rules-and-regulation signs, and the testing of the Congregation thermometer.
