Pienaar District, Mpumalanga-Limpopo Apostle Area, from achieving their intended objective.
The outbreak of the coronavirus, declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organisation, left some households from many African countries struggling to cope with lockdowns which were subsequently imposed to curb its spread. Low earning households were obviously impacted hardest by the lockdown. Spurred by this awareness, the young people initiated a fruitful fundraising initiative.
Through this initiative, fifteen food parcels have thus far been distributed to needy households in the area. The intention is to reach out to more, as many households continue to bear the brunt of retrenchments, resulting from the ongoing lockdown. They intend to continue in the spirit of unity, love and cooperation.
