District Apostle serves in the Kimberley Apostle Area

On 11 and 12 June 2022, District Apostle J Kriel conducted divine services at Tidimalo and Galeshewe South congregations in the Kimberley Apostle Area.

He was accompanied by Apostle W Von Schaeffer and the local leaders from the area.

The Bible word for the divine service on Saturday was taken from John 7:33. The District Apostle commenced this divine service by giving sincere thanks to all for sacrificing their Saturday to attend the divine service. He told the congregation that they should stay so “tidimalo” (Setswana word for quiet / silent) as they are. He mentioned that he heard about the history of the church and how it was built during the time of the retired Bishop E Bhana and his team, and that the building still serves to our benefit today. The key message for the divine service was that Jesus sends us all into the world to continue His work. After this blessed encounter, everyone was excited to greet the District Apostle.

On Sunday morning, the District Apostle was warmly welcomed with singing by the Sunday School children of Galeshewe South Congregation. The District Apostle took time to greet all the children before the divine service. The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of 2 Peter 3:1-2. The District Apostle mentioned that we should preserve the teaching of the Apostle’s doctrine, and persevere in it, since it comes from Jesus Christ. During the divine service, the District Apostle also served the souls from the realms of the departed with Holy Communion. After the closing prayer, the choir and orchestra crowned the divine service with beautiful hymns.
