On Sunday 08 May 2022, the District Apostle Helper Mandla Mkhwanazi conducted an open-air

divine service at the Schoemansdal A Congregation. The shack used by the congregation collapsed some months ago after heavy storms in the area.

The sermon was based on Judges 6:14, “Then the LORD turned to him and said, ‘Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?’.” In his introduction, the District Apostle Helper described the effects of the oppression the Israelites experienced under the Midianites.

The District Apostle Helper explained to the members that God wants to use us in His work. When God elects us for a certain task, He does not look at our qualifications, strengths, or weaknesses. We need to be strong and courageous, and not allow obstacles to stand in our way.

All in attendance went home rejoicing after the divine service.
