Tri-district Young People service in Lavistown

On Sunday 19 November 2023, young people from Lavistown, Table Bay and Duinefontein districts gathered in Lavistown for a special young people divine service. The service was conducted by Athlone's District Rector, Priest David Smith.

Matthew 16:15 served as basis for the sermon, "He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?"

Priest Smith was accompanied by Shepherd Zane Pillay, District Rector of Plumstead District; Community Evangelist Ronald Fortune, District Rector of Grassy Park District; and Priest Dayle Bryan, Lavistown District’s young people leader.

The serving ministers encouraged the young people to define their relationships with Jesus. The relationship should be authentic, living (active), and truthful.

After the service, a short presentation was delivered regarding young people's activities scheduled for 2024 and 2025.
