On Sunday 19 November 2023, Apostle Peter Lambert served the congregation of Westgate.
After months of preparing and looking forward to the visit, the excitement and inner preparation could be felt among the members as the harmonious sounds of the orchestra and choir filled the church hall.
The Apostle used the Bible word 1 Peter 5:10 as the basis for the sermon, "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."
Bishop Leon Ravell was also called upon to serve along.
During the divine service, six souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing. Furthermore, one Priest and one Deacon were ordained for the congregation.
After the divine service, the choir and orchestra rendered a powerful closing hymn, which concluded a blessed few moments spent together.
Thereafter, the members had the opportunity to greet and take photographs with the Apostle.
