Wednesday 15 November 2023 brought about the first visit of Apostle Neville Williams to The Conifers congregation.
The Apostle was accompanied by Shepherd Leonard Wilson and all the Rectors of the Blue Downs District.
The Bible word used as basis for the divine service was taken from the book of Matthew 13:31-32, "Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
Towards the conclusion of the divine service, 10 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.
The divine service was concluded with the choir rendering “A mountain is our faith”, and thereafter, the entire congregation was invited to share in a fellowship with the Apostle.
