Priest Sandon Marais was accompanied by 15 young people from the Welgelegen District to do some mission work in Sutherland. The group departed on Friday 10 November after a special prayer from Community Evangelist Reuben Beelders.
On Saturday, they did church cleaning with members of the congregation and thereafter went to visit an old-age home where they enjoyed fellowship and sang a few hymns, much to the delight of those in attendance.
On Sunday 12 November, Priest Marais conducted the divine service and thereafter served the frail. The weekend was filled with great experiences and created everlasting memories.
