On Saturday 11 November 2023, the confirmands of the Cape Coastal Apostle area, together with their Rectors, Sunday School Coordinators, teachers and Young People leaders, enjoyed a beach walk with the Apostle in Strand. Nearly 500 people gathered to enjoy the 20-minute stretch up along the fresh coastline.
The Apostle welcomed everyone and shared a few encouraging thoughts with them. He spoke to them about how to learn to understand their faith and did much of the same during the walk with those he met along the way.
Before enjoying some fellowship and going their separate ways, everyone formed a human 2024 while an aerial view picture was taken. Everyone departed in high spirits.
