After becoming aware of the needs of the people in Missionvale, Shepherd Peter La Bercensie expressed the need to re-establish the soup kitchen in Missionvale congregation, and Cleary Park congregation responded positively to the needs of their neighbour.

On Sunday 5 November 2023, a donation was handed over to the Rector, Priest Cassim Lombard of Missionvale congregation, by the Rector of Cleary Park, Community Evangelist Wayne Myburgh.

Priest Lombard expressed his thankfulness to the members of Cleary Park congregation for putting smiles on the children's faces.
