Grantham ECC is approximately 40km outside Beaufort West, where the confirmands had their boot camp weekend from 27-29 October 2023.
On Friday afternoon, the group, accompanied by their teachers and leaders, set off from Beaufort West to the nature campsite. The confirmands had the opportunity to meet and greet, have good chats, laughter and games around the fire.
On Saturday, they had the opportunity to explore the area outside the campground with lectures by the conservationists of Karoo National Park.
The focus of the weekend was fun and games, delicous meals, but mainly ensuring the confirmands are ready for confirmation day.
On Sunday, the confirmands attended the divine service in Rustdene.
Too soon, the weekend came to an end, and everyone departed for home.
