On the evening of October 25 2023, Apostle Peter Lambert visited Garden Village Congregation.

Throughout the service, the Sunday School choir, Young People's choir, and Congregation choir participated wholeheartedly.

In addition to the congregants, former and current Rectors of the congregation, including retired and serving Rectors of the Athlone District, were invited to join the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Garden Village Congregation.

The chosen Bible verse for the occasion was Mark 7:37, 'And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”'

The Apostle initiated the divine hour with expressions of happiness and gratitude, feeling welcomed in the presence of God's children, whether they were familiar or new faces. The congregation choir echoed the words of the hymn "God is Good." These words, combined with the Bible verse, inspired the Apostle to reflect on the enduring greatness of God from generation to generation and into eternity.
