From the 6th to the 8th of October 2023, Mahikeng District's Confirmands onboarding outdoor venture was approved and blessed by Apostle W Von Schaeffer. 

The weekend was full of excitement as the confirmands participated in various games that allowed them to connect and build strong relationships. The evening was filled with laughter and joy as they watched a comedy movie together. Throughout the weekend, there was a sense of positivity and camaraderie that will remain with them for years to come.

On an early Saturday morning, we got up and had breakfast before attending a presentation by a game ranger about the existence and livelihood of rhinos. We were each provided with booklets to identify different animals as we went on a drive, along with little gold rhino ornaments. Subsequently, the confirmands were given a refresher of the lessons learned that year, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Furthermore, on the 7th of October, we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day. Each teacher and coordinator received Sunday school book bags with the logo 'Sunday school matters' from the district coordinator to appreciate their hard work in 2023. Later that day, we went on a game drive where we saw different animals and their habitats, including rhinos, Egyptian geese, Bles buck, Impal, and Springbucks. All that we learned that day was related to the Sunday school ecosystem concept.

The day ended with a lovely supper and fellowship where we confidently discussed the importance of prayer, unknowing that the Sunday service would be prayer-related. It was an incredible experience, and we felt the presence of the Holy Spirit throughout.
