On Saturday 14 October 2023, the rector of Saxonsea congregation, Community Evangelist Arthur Aspeling and 12 Priests went on a mission trip to Laingsburg. On arrival at Laingsburg, the group visited families in the area. In total, 15 families received a soul care visit. On Sunday morning, the Rector conducted a divine service. congregation Divine service. After the service, beautiful interaction took place between the Priests and the members. 

On the way home, the group served two sick members with Holy Communion.
