On Sunday 22 October 2023, Apostle Gerome Mintoor conducted a divine service in Despatch congregation.
The Bible word for this divine service was taken from Colossians 3:17.
The Apostle was accompanied by the District Rector Malcolm Lewis, who was also called to serve.
During the divine service
- Two souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.
- Priest Brian Nel was placed into retirement.
- Deacon Raymond Meissenheimer was ordained into the Priestly ministry.
After the closing prayer, the choir concluded the service by singing "We praise Thee O Lord".
Thereafter, the Apostle took time to greet the congregation.
