On Sunday 22 October 2023, the congregation of Rheenendal, situated in a small community 25 km from Knysna, was served by Apostle Cronje. 

The Apostle planned to conduct the divine service in the Hornlee congregation due to the space restrictions in the local congregation. 

The Bible word used for the divine service was taken from Colossians 3:17. 

After the celebration of Holy Communion, the Apostle placed Community Evangelist Lewis Williams, Rector of the congregation, into retirement after serving as a minister for 21 years. The Apostle thanked him for his loyal support in the area and his service as a minister. 

Thereafter, the Apostle appointed Priest Danwer Dutoit as the new Rector of the Rheenendal congregation and wished him well in his new responsibility.

The festivity did not end there, however, as the Apostle called the retired Rector Williams and his wife Isabella to the altar to bestow them the silver wedding blessing. 

After the divine service, the Apostle took time to greet the congregation.
