On Wednesday 18 October 2023, Apostle Gerome Mintoor visited the congregation of Somerset East. He was accompanied by the District Rector, District Evangelist Eugene Felkers.  

The Apostle used the Bible word James 2:14 as basis for the divine service. The theme of the divine service was under the heading "Works of faith".

During the divine service, one child received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing. 

After the divine service, the members enjoyed fellowship and had the opportunity to interact with the Apostle.
