On Sunday 15 October 2023, the congregation of Forest Hill was visited by Bishop  F. Flores.  

The Bible word for the special occasion was taken from John 3: 17.

During the service, the silver wedding anniversary blessing was bestowed on retired Priest Alan and his wife, Sharifa Hails.

Further inspiration and guidance for the future of the couple was provided through a passage from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

After the service, the congregation was allowed to convey their wishes to the couple. The Bishop also made use of the time to interact with the Sunday School, confirmands and their parents.
