On Sunday 15 October 2023, Apostle Rakoto visited Ambatolahy. This congregation is situated 102 kilometres south of the main town of Fianarantsoa, typically a 3-4 hour road journey.

The building in which the congregation gathers was destroyed by a recent cyclone. This sort weather phenomena is a common occurrence in the Indian Ocean Island territories.

The visit of the Apostle was a special occasion for the congregation, as 46 believers received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing. Plans are afoot to restore the building, which was built by the members of the congregation for the purpose of conducting divine services.
