The Confirmands from Arcadia and Gelvandale District had their Confirmation camp from 06-08 October 2023 at Mentor Estate in Jeffrey's Bay.
During the weekend, they had their final preparation for Confirmation 2023. The focus of the weekend was strengthening the 5 pillars of Confirmation.
* Articles of faith.
*Ten Commandments.
*Prayer and Prayer life.
*Offering and sacrifice.
*Ministers and their functions.
These pillars will encourage their knowledge and understanding of their confirmation vow.
Along with team building, they made some new friends, district and congregation-wise.
On Saturday, the Confirmands were blessed with a visit from Apostle G. Mintoor who joined in on all the fun. Apostle Mintoor encouraged and reminded the confirmands that understanding their faith takes time.
The weekend ended with a divine service in Jeffrey's Bay congregation.
All excitement now leads to their confirmation day, where they will commit themselves to God.
