With a great degree of preparation, the choirs and orchestra of the Pretoria Central District held their Thanksgiving concert under the banner "Praise and Gratitude".

The Children's Choir, Mass Choir, Traditional, Male and Senior's Choirs, together with an orchestra, converged at Gezina congregation on Sunday, 8 October 2023 to render the polished result of their labours.

In attendance were Apostle A Page, District Rector Q Hinrichsen, and other local Rectors.

The concert was concluded with thunderous applause for the varied programme, which took the audience on a musical journey from the times of slavery in the deep South of America to the soul-stirring anthems of gratitude, combined with the enthusiasm of African beats, to the joyous sound of the children expressing their thanks in an overwhelming fashion.

All too soon, the practices were a thing of the past, but the peak of joy will linger for quite some time and will remain etched in the hearts of the attendees.
