On Sunday 08 October 2023, Apostle N Nene visited Stutterheim congregation in the Buffalo City District.

During the divine service, the Apostle bestowed the 50th wedding anniversary blessing on retired Priest Fred Jafta and his wife, Erica.

The couple expressed their appreciation for their family, friends and pastoral leaders who supported them throughout their married life.

Their watchword, which they use as a staff in their daily life, is Psalm 117, 'Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Laud Him, all you peoples! For His merciful kindness is great toward us, And the truth of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!
