On Sunday 8 October 2023, the music leaders from the Gqeberha-Karoo Apostle Area concluded their training weekend with a divine service conducted by Apostle G Mintoor in Palmridge Congregation.
The Bible word for the festive divine service was taken from Matthew 5:23-24, "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."
Apostle Mintoor started the service by expressing a big thanks to all music leaders for their work and commitment. The leaders were encouraged to always embrace their gifts and talents with faith in God and to create an all-inclusive environment where others would also want to be part of it.
Shepherd Labersensie was also called upon to serve along.
The choir and orchestra concluded the service with hymn 300, "Thee God praise we bring".
What a blessed weekend in music it was.
