On Monday 25 September 2023, the Welgelegen District Young People Leaders gathered for an eventful training session with Priest Sandon Marais. The leaders and some of the workgroup members sacrificed their public holiday to be part of this training session. The buzz and brainstorming continued way past the 3-hour session, as many were happy to absorb the information shared. Early morning coffee and homemade treats were enjoyed, as well as some lunch. Now, with excitement, the team awaits the National Young People Leaders training session, which takes place on 7 October 2023.
