In a significant stride towards ensuring the safety and well-being of its members, the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa recently organised a Safeguarding Facilitators Workshop in Windhoek, Namibia, on September 23, 2023.
The workshop brought together selected members from across Namibia, united by a singular purpose: to adapt and customise the existing Sexual Misconduct Policy to the distinctive requirements of Namibia. This initiative signifies the church's unwavering dedication to addressing the specific needs and cultural nuances of its diverse membership, ensuring that every member worships in a secure and nurturing environment.
To further enhance the church's ability to safeguard its members, the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa has established a regional committee for Namibia. This committee will work diligently to address cases within their geographic area, adhering to applicable laws and regulations. By doing so, the church fortifies its commitment to providing a secure and nurturing environment for all members.
