In commemoration of the congregation’s 25 years of existence, the congregation of Fernwood Park hosted a choral on Saturday, 23 September 2023. An exhilarating and dynamic repertoire was executed by the adult choir, orchestra, children’s choir, organ solo and soprano duet.
On Sunday 24 September 2023, Apostle G Mintoor conducted a divine service in the congregation.
The Bible word for the service was taken from Matthew 10:40.
Community Evangelist P Henley was also called to serve the congregation.
During the festive divine service, 13 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the sacrament of Holy Sealing.
At end of the divine service, a sense of warmth, comfort and new energy could be felt amongst the congregants.
