On Monday 18 September 2023, an excited group of senior members from Beaufort West visited Karoo National Park, situated just outside Beaufort West.
The group participated in the Fossil Trail, which tells the story of the ancient Karoo by way of showcasing fossils from 250 million years ago before climate and geomorphological activity changed the landscape.
At the end of their activity, much-needed refreshments were enjoyed at the Bulkraal Picnic spot within the park.
