On Tuesday 12 September 2023, Apostle R Worship served the congregation of Sidneyvale. 

As basis for the service, the Apostle read a Bible word from Joel 2:23, “Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God; for He has given you the [a]former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you— the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month."

The Apostle reminded the congregation that God provides for our needs and gives us everything we require for our completion. 

Before the celebration of Holy Communion, 26 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing. 

Further joy was experienced when Deacons were ordained: Deacon Winston Sauls for Sidneyvale and Deacon Ricardo Behardien for Nooitgedacht. 

Sidneyvale congregation’s former rector (now the rector of Valhalla Park), Shepherd Malcolm Cupido, and his wife Sandra also received their ruby wedding anniversary blessing. 

The choir concluded the divine service with a beautiful rendition of “Soon comes the day”.
