When the Rector of Voorbrug, Priest Pat Lawrence, shared the message of the visit of Apostle Neville Williams to the congregation, the excitement was tangible in the congregation.
The Apostle visited Voorbrug congregation on 10 September 2023. He used a Bible word out of the book of James 1: 18, "Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures."
Before the celebration of Holy Communion, 41 souls were sealed.
2 Priests were also ordained for the congregation.
Before the conclusion of the divine service, the Apostle Williams bestowed the silver wedding blessing on brother and sister Kennedy. The choir concluded the divine service with a rendition of The Lord God reigneth.
